Mission

At TREC we are working hard to create a world in which everyone is fully aware of the link between their energy habits and environmental impacts and all people have a clear and easy choice for participating in renewable energy and conservation activities. We believe this can be accomplished by:

• Building community-based and owned renewable energy projects; and
• Educating Ontarians and visitors about renewable energy, energy efficiency/conservation and the community power model

Goals & Objectives

Our goal is to build a leading edge, hands-on renewable energy centre in Ontario to:

• Develop and deliver curriculum-linked energy activities, workshops and fieldtrips to complement the Ontario curriculum for all grade levels across the province;
• Spread our successful Kids’ World of Energy Festival throughout the province;
• Bridge the gap between the needs of green energy employers and Ontario youth.
• Build community owed renewable energy projects Ontarians to own and participate in;
• Assist others that want to build community projects.
